Driver Denied Bond in Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Douglas County

According to the Patch.com , a Douglas County Superior Court Judge denied bond to the driver that was charged for driving under the influence (DUI) and injured in a motorcycle accident with an EMT at Grady Memorial Hospital .

A spokesperson for the Georgia State Patrol stated the driver was traveling westbound on I-20 when his vehicle struck the EMT’s motorcycle from behind. The accident resulted in the EMT being ejected from the motorcycle and into the center lane of the interstate, wherein a tractor-trailer truck struck him.
